He was currently in one of the many booths in Saints & Sinners, drunk as hell. He had just successfully texted Jason, not whether or not he was going to regret it was up to how the night went. [break][break] He didn't know what time it was and he was one of the last people in the bar. He adjusted his shirt and laughed as he checked out the new filters on Snapchat. Yes, he may have had a little too much to drink, but who cares, he was having fun. [break][break] The bartender brought a glass of water over to Snart and he nodded a thanks. "Thanks, I think..I think i may need this" he said, words slurring pretty badly. Nodding and taking the last empty glass from Snart, the male went back to behind the bar with a smile. [break][break] Snart laid his head on the table and let out a small giggle when Lisa sent him a Snap of her wagging her finger and saying something like 'Shame on you Lenny.' He texted her back, but it was just a jumbled mess of letters and a few numbers. [break][break] He got a few question marks from her and another picture, this time she was with Mick, and he was laughing and pointing. Lisa captioned it 'I told Mick, he's dying now lenny, look what u did' [break][break] Rolling his eyes, he sipped the water and picked his head up, leaning against the wall. Now it was just a waiting game. Waiting for the person who surprisingly made Snart even gayer than he already was, and that was no easy feat. Leave it to Red Hood to do the impossible though, the man came back from the dead for Christ's sake. Jason couldn't believe this. He was currently on his way to Saints & Sinners in Central City because Snart decided it was a good idea to get plastered and drunk text him. Hey, Jay's an opportunist. This was prime blackmail material coming up and there's no way he was going to miss it. Plus, it'd be pretty shitty to leave the guy so out of it in public. Given that he's still on quite a few people's bad lists, it's just asking for trouble. Plus, Snart rambling on about how hot he is was an added bonus. Usually it was Dick that got drunk texts about his good looks. He'd have to rub this in his brother's face. Though, Jason wasn't entirely sure Dick wouldn't just make fun of him for having Captain Cold blowing up his phone. Man, he sure knew how to ruin everything, didn't he?[break][break]
It was sheer luck that had Jason about half an hour out of Central on a low-key mission. A simple 'collect intel and report'. He could do that in his sleep. As he hit a red light, he set on foot on the ground to steady his motorcycle and look around Central. It was pretty, almost quaint compared to Gotham. No sirens or gunshots all over the place, color in the city, you could see the sky, and the people looked happy and not terrified or ready to jump you. It was getting under Jason's skin. All this peace and quiet was unnatural to him. How Snart managed to live here without losing his mind, Jason would never know. The alcohol probably helped[break][break]
Once the light turned green, he kicked off and sped toward the bar his friend was currently at. Or, at least, Jason hoped he was still there. He told Snart to stay put but whether or not the thief decided to listen was up in the air. It didn't look too busy as he pulled up, but it was busy enough. Jason sighed as he parked. He took off his helmet as he was making his way to the door, earning a few curious looks. The antihero stuck out like a sore thumb in central, not because his leather jacket and boots, but his entire aura was decidedly off. Good ol' Gotham had a habit of imprinting herself on the residents there and she never really left them, no matter where they went.[break][break]
He pushed into the bar and was immediately hit with the scent of cigarette smoke. Classic rock played in the background as patrons enjoyed their drinks. It wasn't hard to spot Leonard. He was sitting in a booth, slumped against the wall with a clear drink. Oh dear god, Jason hoped it was water. The stalwart vigilante made his way toward Snart, stride exuding a confidence that cleared him a path. He stopped before the booth and raised a brow at the drunk man. "Fancy meeting you here." A smirk toyed with his lips and amusement gleamed in his eyes. He slid onto the sit across from Leonard. "Please tell me you actually have the money to pay your tab." His tone was light and joking. Jason was pretty certain the man would, but in the off-chance he drank more than he meant, Jason would pick up the tab. What can he say? It was as if the holy choir themselves were singing hallelujah at the arrival of Jason Todd. Well maybe they weren't doing that but to Snart, they were. [break][break] Watching the male as he slid across from him, Snart frowned. "Nooo sit over here" he said, lazily pointing next to him. "I just, you're so hot. Did i say that already? I think i did. Anyway, yeah, hot." he said, letting out a sudden giggle. That, in turn, caused him to laugh and smile again and revealing just how drunk he was. [break][break] "Please tell me you actually have the money to pay your tab." Jason joked, and Snart nodded. "Yuup." he said, popping the 'p'. "Already did, when i was told no more drinks" he said, waving his hand in the air. He messed with his shirt some and frowned once more. [break][break] "Jay..does this outfit make me look fat?" he said, pressing on his stomach. It was a little known fear of Snart, but it was one of his biggest fears. He usually kept it bottled in, but when he was drunk, that's when the true Len came out, that and some repressed emotions he had. [break][break] To be completely honest the last time he was drunk in public, he was with Lisa and Mick, god knows how long ago, and it was quickly revealed just how affectionate he can be. He clung to Mick like there was no tomorrow, and the same was about to happen to Jason if he sat next to him. What could Len say, he had a thing for taller, more muscular men. Snart was giving Jason a rather odd look when he approached and it made the vigilante question just what the hell was going on in his (very drunk) head. Sitting across from the thief was apparently the wrong move because Snart frowned like Jason offended him. "Nooo sit over here. I just, you're so hot. Did i say that already? I think i did. Anyway, yeah, hot." He eyed up the spot next to Leonard with growing amusement. If Jason's face felt a little warm, he'd blame it on the heat of the bar. Getting compliments was still fairly new to Jason. He died a gangly fifteen year old still growing into his muscles and came back in a more matured body. It was a shock, to say the least. [break][break]
Jason slouched in his seat and kicked up his armored boots onto Snart's bench with a shit-eating grin. "I dunno Len, I'm pretty comfy right here." Then, he pulled out his phone and pointed the camera at the inebriated man. "What did you say earlier about me? I didn't quite catch it." Was it a dick move to record him all but swooning over Jason while smashed? Yeah, it was. Would Jason actually use the 'blackmail' against his friend? Nah, but Snart didn't need to know that. Besides, it'd make for some hilarious laughs later.[break][break]
"Yuup. Already did, when i was told no more drinks" At that, Jason laughed a little. They cut him off from the bar already? Man, he must have been hitting the hard stuff fast. Not that Jay was one to talk. He's been known to hit the bar hard and come out well past his limits. Granted, he needed more alcohol than average to get to that point, thanks to the Lazarus Pit. "Jay..does this outfit make me look fat?" Jason blinked at that, a little taken aback by the random question. It looked as if Len was being completely serious. "Holy shit, I'm not drunk enough for this." He muttered the words to himself. This was not what he expected from the well-renown thief. Then again, they all had their insecurities. Jason had plenty. He then spoke up for Snart to hear. "No, it doesn't make you look fat, I promise. Be right back, buddy." [break][break]
Jason made a little hand gesture telling Snart to stay put while he slipped from the booth. Then, he made his way to the bar to order his own drink. When the bartender approached, ready for his order, Jason sighed. "I need another water for my friend and I'll take, uh, Crown Apple. Just...not a shot, a glass of it." At his request, the bartender froze for a moment and gave him a sympathetic look. Yeah, it was one of those times. Every now and again he looked back to make sure the drunken man didn't disappear or start a fight or, knowing his luck, somehow get his head stuck in something. [break][break]
It didn't take long to get his drinks and return to the booth. The vigilante took a healthy gulp of the whiskey as he slid the water to Leonard. "So, why did you decide to get drunk alone? Nobody gets drunk alone." Okay, he was generalizing but that wasn't the point. He really was curious as to what made Snart come here without any of his usual friends. Jason sipped his drink as he watched over Len.[break][break]

"Thanks. I just..worry" he said, giving the male a small grin. Even though he was drunk, Snart could still talk better than he texts, even if it's slurred and sometimes mumbled. [break][break] Jason waved at him and Snart nodded, drawing some small, unseen patterns in the table. Lost in his drunken thoughts, he looked up when a glass of clear liquid was slid towards him. He knew it was water, and he felt grateful that Jason brought him another glass. "You're the best, man." he slurred, taking a drink. [break][break] "So, why did you decide to get drunk alone? Nobody gets drunk alone." The thoughts he tried to evade came back at full force. He looked at Jason, anger and pain evident in his eyes. Now usually Snart would filter his words, only tell someone what they absolutely need to know, but since he's with someone he trusts and drunk, he's going to say everything. [break][break] "I was..I was doing a heist. Not a big one. Three man, Lisa, Mick the usual." he said, hand tightening around the glass. "Small, jewelry store. Simple, get in get out, but they showed up." 'They' being Weather Wizard, Mirror Master, and Trickster. [break][break] "The funny thing is..I thought Mardon was on our side. But it turned out, he was never with anyone. First, they took out Mick. Left him bloody on the dirt outside with internal damage. Then they..they beat Lis up bad. To top it off, they killed the owner and everyone inside. Can you..can you believe that! They beat me up, left me for dead. Good thing Barry is such a nice guy, kid patched me up, let me go, took Lis and Mick to his friends. Heard they were much worse than I was" he said, shattering the glass in his hand. The blood and water mixed on the table as he kept his hand clenched around some shards. [break][break] Blood ran down his hand, his icy glare turned to the glass on the table. "They killed innocents. Took the jewels. They. Hurt. Lisa. I'm going to kill them." he said, pressing his uninjured hand to his temple, trying to avoid an impending headache. Ahh, so it was one of those stories. He quietly sipped his whiskey as he waited for the thief to tell his tale. When Len began, there was an equal amount of devastation in his slurring tones. "I was..I was doing a heist. Not a big one. Three man, Lisa, Mick the usual. Small, jewelry store. Simple, get in get out, but they showed up." Jason could already see where this was going and it was nowhere good. He let out a low hum as the pieces began clicking in his head.[break][break]
As the story progressed, Jason felt that familiar acrid wrath tugging at his nerves. He could almost taste the Pits waters on his tongue as teal eyes brightened to a something a little more unnatural, a little too green. What he was saying was most assuredly pissing off the antihero. Betraying your allies, hurting family, killing innocents. It was a lethal cocktail that was just begging for the Red Hood to handle. Jason remained silent as Snart's words tapered to a close. The shattering of his glass brought the vigilante momentarily out of his violent musings.[break][break]
"They killed innocents. Took the jewels. They. Hurt. Lisa. I'm going to kill them. Another low hum left Jason's throat as he watched blood drip onto the table. Then, he casually pushed napkins toward his friend to tend to his wound. "Don't think Flash would be too happy if you started capping people." His words, while said in an almost lax tone were deep and rough with that volatile rage. "Though, if you really want them dead..." He trailed off, letting the offer hang in the air. Jason would have absolutely no issue murdering scum who did such things.[break][break]
He ground his teeth together in an effort to restrain that bloodthirsty fire burning through his veins. The burn of whiskey slipping down his throat did little to distract him. Perhaps getting drunk with such thoughts crowding his head was a bad idea, but, hey, that's what Jason was practically made of. He cracked his neck and shot Snart a shark-like grin. "Out of curiosity, where do they chill?" While said innocently, there was no denying the murder lurking in his Lazarus-tinged eyes.[break][break]
Jason immediately held his tongue when he noticed an approaching staff member. He attempted to shoot them a charming grin so it didn't look like the two technical criminals were up to no good. To be honest, he wasn't certain how effective it was. They wiped up the glass and Jason gave an apology for the mess. As they walked away, Jason turned back to his friend. "On a lighter subject, why the hell did you not tell me about your cats? Like...you could have been sending me cat snaps or letting me pet them. I'm mortally offended." How exactly he knew Snart had cats was never mentioned. What? Jason was a Bat, they tended to be a little too invasive when it came to others. Besides, he was serious about wanting to pet them and get pictures. He didn't even try to hide his love of animals anymore.[break][break]

Looking up when napkins were pushed towards him, he nodded a thanks and cleaned his wounds, picking a small piece glass out. [break][break] "Don't think Flash would be too happy if you started capping people. Though, if you really want them dead..." Giving that some thought he nodded, " True. Hero's heart. Kid needs to loosen up, some people need to die." he spoke, rubbing his face with his hands, smearing some across his face. [break][break] He wiped the blood off with a napkin when the male in front of his spoke up once more. "Out of curiosity, where do the chill?" Len gave Jason an odd look, " Warehouse. By the museum?" he said, though it sounded more like a question. [break][break] Then someone came over and cleaned up the mess Len made, and he sighed. "Sorry" he mumbled, getting a small wave of dismissal from the staff member. As they cleaned the glass up, they didn't seem to care, so neither did Len. [break][break] He was about to go back into his own little world when Jason spoke up , mentioning something about his cats. A confused looked crossed the male's face as he looked at Jason. "You know about Tubs?" He fumbled around with his phone, cursing slightly when he gripped it too tightly with his injured hand, and pulled up a picture of a fat munchkin cat. " That's my baby, Sir Tubalard, but I say Tubs." Scrolling through the pictures, he stopped on one where there were two kittens. [break][break] "That one is Bing Clawsby, or just Bing, and the other is Kitkat." He pointed at both cats, and smiled at the pictures. Looking at the male across from him, he tilted his head slightly. "I didn't know you liked animals" he said, looking like he was still trying to comprehend that Red Hood liked animals. It didn't add up in his drunken mind. [break][break] "I guess, you can see them whenever you're in Central?" he said, putting his phone down, messing with the cuts on his hand. It wasn't that bad, but it was bleeding a lot. He jerked slightly when his phone notified him of a text. [break][break] That was enough to make him realize one thing. "I forgot to lock my door. Tubs is gonna get out" he said, starting to slide out of his seat, only to stop and frown. "I can't drive" he said, groaning in frustration. That was the Flash, alright. Too damn nice for this shithole of a world. Then again, Central wasn't the worst place to be. Still, being a hero had a special way of kicking you while you were down, then spitting on you for extra measure. That was something Jason found out when he was still wearing that god-awful leotard.
He couldn't help but let out a breathy chuckle at Len's choice of words. "Ya know, it's kinda funny you call him kid while you sit here drinkin' with me. He's like ten years older than me. Hell, he's older than you, Lenny." Where Jason got his information wasn't much of a mystery. What wasn't stored on the batcomputer? The fact that he didn't exactly ask before prying into the files was a non-issue. He took a sip of Crown before continuing. "Though, I definitely agree. Some of these scum deserve to die. Hey, maybe you can try and convince B of that." That smirk settling on his lips was all too telling that he knew just how terrified of Batman Leonard was. He loved messing with him about it.
Teal eyes traced the smeared blood on Snart's face with all the clinical precision of one way too used to assessing wounds and dealing with crimson-splattered bodies. It should probably be a bit perturbing that what caught Jason's attention at seeing Snart bleeding all over the place was the fact that the man hadn't picked all the glass shards from the wound yet. There was no visceral reaction to the pain or splotches of deep, familiar red leaking across the table, ringing around the bottoms of Jason's glass. He was so terribly desensitized at this point, he'd be a therapists dream. Those were thoughts he liked to push to the back of the closet as he downed more whiskey.
For a moment, he was a tad confused when Snart gave a simple "Warehouse. By the museum?" Then, Jason remembered the question he'd asked and that volatile rage he'd tempered down started to rise again. That toothy, blood-thirsty grin lifted his lips in a look that didn't leave much room to imagine what he was thinking. "Thanks, buddy. Maybe I'll pay 'em a visit." However many body bags would be needed after that meeting, he hasn't yet decided. Hell, they deserved that sort of bloody justice after what they did; not just to Snart, Lisa, and Mick, but to the civilians. That could wait. For now, he was hanging out with his friend who clearly needed him.
When Snart started telling him about his cats, that grin turned into something more innocent. The excitement was clear in his eyes. Their names had him laughing. 'Bing Clawsby'. That sounded like something Dick would name one of his cats. "I didn't know you liked animals. I guess, you can see them whenever you're in Central?"" At that, Jason just nodded. That was a very dangerous offer to leave on the table, but not for the usual reasons. Jason was liable to come by just to pet his cats. And, if they wound up missing one day, well, Jason would have no idea why. "Oh hell yeah, I love animals. Be prepared to see me a lot more now." To be honest, he probably would have just broken in to see the kittens, but now he wouldn't feel so bad.
Jason rose a brow when Snart jerked at something. "I forgot to lock my door. Tubs is gonna get out. I can't drive" Jason shook his head as he got up and left some money on the table. He attempted to help the man walk but was getting nowhere with his stumbling and insistence on sliding to the floor. "Yeah, you can't even walk, dude. I got an idea." Jason decided to say 'fuck it' and grabbed the man around the waist. With what seemed like no effort, he picked Leonard up and slung him over his shoulder before heading toward the door with a jaunty salute to the bartender. "Let's go save Sir Tubalard."
