Personality: Sassy Call it what you will: Bold, snarky, cheeky; it's all the same. She isn't one to beat around the bush or pay attention to 'boundaries' and 'formalities'. There isn't time in life for them. She's here to get shit done right or do it herself. She shows little faith in those beneath her and above her and it shows in her distaste when things don't go the way she planned, not that she plans things all that well. Her standards are high and she doesn't have time for stupid questions or opinions or lack of class. Be offended if you like, she doesn't care. Don't count her as a friend unless you truly know her and even if you are a friend, don't expect her to be nice just because she likes you.
Prissy Stuck up, clean, all-knowing, prim and proper. You name it. She hates getting rained on and really hates for anyone to touch her, especially her hands and feet. She cares a bit too much about her appearance and is a total bitch when something about her looks is off. She isn't one for sneaking around dank places unless absolutely forced. She will do it but she'll complain the entire time. She doesn't like to be touched at all either, like, ever. She gets all worked up and anxious and just explodes when someone touches her. Even with her permission it's still touch and go. Best to just not touch her at all.
Opinionated Let me tell you just how bad this girl is. You could lay down facts, hard facts about how she is damn wrong and she'd still hold onto what she believes. There is no proving her wrong because buddy o' pal, Penny is always right. It doesn't matter what it's about, how trival or serious the matter is, she's always gonna be right and there is no other way you can tell her different. From sushi being the best food in the world to stagnate water being absolutely fucking disgusting, she has her own little thoughts. God forbid anyone try and tell her otherwise.
Embodiment of Bitch She doesn't really mean to be a bitch. Wait, yes she does. She goes by the saying "If I'm being called bitch, it means I'm doing something right." She's not here to be your friend. She can be selfish when he wants to be but can also be selfless when needed. She's a hard bitch that doesn't play around and intends to get things done in a timely manner. She doesn't do well with disappointment.
Hateful Nicknamer™ Its honestly like the worst habit to have. Usually if it was a habit of someone a bit nicer, it wouldn't be so bad, but no. She likes to take the flaws of others and toss them into a witty nickname. She'll use it every single time she can too, no matter where she's at or what she's doing. From Twinkle Toes to Half Wit, she can come up with some of the worst names and doesn't even realize she's doing it. Bring it up to her and she'll just laugh in your face. So it's better to just accept it.
OCD Oh ho ho let me tell you. If anything in her domain is out of place she will throw a royal fit. It drives her absolutely insane. Even in public if something is out of place, like a jacket someone is wearing, it will drive her nuts. It'll take her months to forget if she can't fix it right away, but its better to let the poor girl fix it or she becomes quite the mess. In some cases it can interfere with her ability to do her job, but she is slowly learning to work it through so it won't be a problem. Though she still gripes about it from time to time.

Brief history: Let's just say Penny had a fairly good life when she was a child, she grew up in Paris, with a well off family. Money was not a problem and she pretty much lived in luxury. That is until her Father disappeared and her mother fell sick. None of the doctors in Paris could figure out what was wrong with her mother, so she was forced to fly to the States with her, in hopes a doctor there could help her mother. Life was no longer smooth sailing, the money seemed to disappear with her father and for years her mother got worse. She was ten when her mother finally died from an illness no one could solve.
With her mother dead and no trace of her Father, she was left alone in the world and put into a foster home. Somehow, she caught a break and her foster home happened to be a woman that was hellbent on Penny being able to protect herself. The woman trained in her all manner of hand-to-hand combat and guns. Blades had always been her weakest but she can still hold her own with them. Eventually this woman adopted her and she stayed with her learning how to survive until she was eighteen and then Penny decided it was time to do her own thing. She was old enough and had enough knowledge to live on her own.
Life was good for the most part. She had a desk job at the police station and she had a cheap but good apartment. Life was looking up for her once again. A few years past and then life tumbled down. It was a long, fun filled night of parties, she and her friends had had too much to drink and finally decided to walk home. But, when she woke up the next morning, she wasn't in her bed. She woke up chained to a tiny cot in a cell. Kidnapped. She didn't know for what, or by whom or where her friends were. All she knew was that she had to get out. No one would come looking for her, she was an orphan and sure she was adopted but she hadn't talked to that mother in years. She was alone and no one would save her. So, she had to save herself.
The years of training paid off and she'd gotten halfway through her escape before she came across the man she now knew as Jason Todd. He'd come to shut down what he revealed as a human trafficking ring and they'd run across each other as she was breaking out. It sparked a partnership and a friendship and much more, she now works for Jason, doing what she can, when she can and she doesn't plan on turning back.
