Send out the signal and I'll fly low Dick Grayson If it means the death of me, I won't let go Even if the sky does fall Even if they take it all There's no pain that I won't go through Even if I have to die for you Officer Dick Grayson strolled down the steets of Blüdhaven, coffee in one hand and donut in the other, looking nothing short of the ultimate police stereotype. What could he say? He loved sugary treats to an almost unhealthy degree. Sure, he endured his fair share of teasing from his fellow officers and even civilians, but it was all in good fun. After all, it was hard to really begrudge one of the only nice cops in the 'Haven. It doesn't hurt that he was damn easy on the eyes. He took the jests with a brilliant grin and a light chuckle. Sometimes, he'd order extra just to see the cashier laugh. This ugly city could use a little more cheer, a little more brightness.
He was currently on patrol, though it was nearing the end of his shift. If there was no emergency calls, he'd make his way back to his apartment just off the Narrows and start getting ready for his other job. Being a cop was great, he loved it, but patrolling the rooftops as Nightwing was what he felt he was really meant to do. There was something in flying over the streets, fighting all the world's Devils, and saving others in ways the police never could, that would stick with the hero forever. His heart belonged in the sky, painted black and blue. There's nothing in the world he'd rather do.
Dick rounded the corner and saw a group of children around his squad car. Some kicked at the vehicle, though they were too young to cause any damage. There was a fury in these kids that tugged at his heart. He let out a sigh, made sure his donut was wrapped, and set down his snack before making his way to the kids. At the sight of the approaching officer, some of the kids scattered or froze in shock. One stood on the hood of his car defiantly, little hands balled into fists and a stubborn jut to his jaw. "We didn't do nothin' wrong!" He acted fearless, but the slight trembling of his lip and body told that he was scared of Dick. Really, he couldn't blame the kid. In Blüdhaven, the cops were some of the absolute worst criminals and kids like this suffered because of that.
Instead of reprimanding him or even telling him to get off his squad car, Dick just gave a small grin. That didn't settle the children's nerves. Smiling cops were even worse than scowling ones. "Actually, you did. If you try to punch someone with your thumbs tucked in your fists like that, you're going to break them." That garnered him some bewildered stares. He approached slowly as to not scare them. "Here, keep your fists like this." He showed them the right technique and helped the boy form a proper fist."There you go! Now, when you swing, you want to follow through with your body, not just extend your arm."
The kids smiled once they realized he had no ill intentions involving them. In fact, they grew a little excited in wanting to learn proper self-defense from the cop. Some pushed forward in an attempt to grab his attention. This was a vital skill to learn, especially in a city considered even uglier than Gotham. It was a skill he wished he knew back when he was put in juvie after the death of his parents. That would have made the stay easier.
Their little training session was cut short when some older kids called out to the children, beckoning them away from the cop with worried looks. Dick wanted to offer them reassuring grins but they'd probably see that as a subtle threat. It was a sad time when civilians were more afraid of the officers who swore to protect them than the criminals lurking in the alleys. That was why he chose Blüdhaven to live and protect. They needed it more than anywhere he's seen before.
With a parting tip on how to keep grounded, Dick waved the kids off and returned to his snack. He sighed as he looked at the food and drink. It wouldn't be a surprise if someone poisoned it while he wasn't looking. He dumped the contents in the nearest trash can and started walking back the way he came. Looks like another trip to the coffee shop was in order.

Soaring over the city, Supergirl patrolled, looking and listening for anywhere that she could assist. The day had been surprisingly quiet and not too much trouble had been going on. She was bored, and decided to take her search further away. Being able to fly was an amazing feeling, she was enjoying the wind in her hair and got herself a little distracted. She flew further and further until she ended up..somewhere. That's when she heard it. The familiar voice, it not just any voice. It was hiiiis. Dick Grayson!
Kara hovered overhead and listened. Some might call this creeping but it definitely was not. You don't know if those adorable little brats had guns or something, right? She was a little confused as he began teaching them how to properly hold their fists rather than get angry and shoo them away. Is there anything about him that isn't perfect? She remained in the sky daydreaming until the children left, watching him backtrack and throw his food into the trash. It was a smart move, although Kara didn't see anyone tamper with it. "Coffee and.. a donut." She said out loud, using her super vision to check the contents. Got it!
Instead of swooping down and saying hello, she flew off to make a quick stop first. Within seconds she was inside the nearest coffee shop, waiting in line like everyone else while getting weird stares. She chatted a bit until it was her turn in line to pay. She felt around, forgetting this costume didn't have pockets. Apparently Superheroes their coffee free here. Kara couldn't thank them enough but zoomed off quickly to make sure she got to her future boyfriend (Lmao) in time!
Far from graceful, Kara landed in the street near his patrol car with a thud and a big smile. "I brought you something!" She said, holding out the new coffee and donut to him. The coffees were shaken up and some had spilled, donut was slightly squished. "Uh.. I rushed so I wouldn't miss you."

Running around his house, Wally changed his outfit every few seconds.Every time he changed, he deemed it to be unacceptable. Finall, he settled on his original choice and rushed to shove the clothes back into his closet. Walking downstairs, he made sure to lock his doors before speeding off to the nearest Big Belly Burger.
Slowing down, he walked into the store, ordering an absurd amount of food. Getting odd looks from the people, they asked him if he was ordering for a party, and all Wally could do was nod.
As he was waiting, he tapped his foot and debated telling Dick he was coming over, but he decided against he. He opened up one of his favorite games, Flappy Bird, and waited. When they called his order number, he took and paid for the food.
Walking out, he looked around before he sped off to Coast City. There he ordered a regular pizza, seeing as Coast had supposedly the greatest pizza, he thought it'd be worth it. After getting it, he went back home to add the finishing touch on the pizza, cornflakes.
Now it may seem weird, but that was Dick's thing, cornflake pizza, so Wally got him exactly that. After making sure to keep the food warm and straight, because no one likes none pizza with left cornflakes, he ran off to Bludhaven.
After getting near where Dick was, he slowed himself down. As he began walking towards Dick, he saw Kara talking with him. Smiling, he picked the pace up, balancing the Big Belly Burgers on the pizza box.
Reaching the duo, he snickered at the male's outfit. His shirt was tucked in and he hated to admit it, but the pants made his butt look real nice, but to top off the outfit, he had the stereotypical police hat on top of his head.
Putting the food down on the hood of Dick's car, he sped over, took Dick's hat, and put it on before anyone could blink. "What's up guys. Fancy meeting you guys here" he said, tipping the hat to them with his usual grin.
He looked at Kara and waved."If you're hungry, I brought food. It was meant for Dick and my bro-lunch but I'm willing to share! The chicken nuggets are mine though. All sixty-two of them."

Send out the signal and I'll fly low Dick Grayson If it means the death of me, I won't let go Even if the sky does fall Even if they take it all There's no pain that I won't go through Even if I have to die for you [attr="class","dickie"] [player]http://k003.kiwi6.com/hotlink/evom9p3b6b/Starboy_-_The_Weeknd_lyrics_.mp3[/player] Dick stopped in his tracks once he felt a tremor rock the ground and heard a heavy 'thud' not too far away from his position. He turned, mentally prepared for a fight, but was greeted with the sight of a smiling Kara. Dick returned it with his own 10,000-watt grin. She presented him with a slightly squished donut and a shaken up coffee. "I brought you something!" That smile seemed to up in brilliance and he let out a light laugh. "Uh.. I rushed so I wouldn't miss you." Dick grabbed the food and drink with a kind, grateful look and pointedly sipped the hot coffee to let her know he didn't mind the quality it arrived in. "Thanks, Kara! It's good to see you. Swooping in to save the day, huh?"
Now that he didn't have to go back to the shop, he had time to kill. After all, his shift was just about over and there weren't any really pressing matters to attend to. If there were, he's certain Kara would have heard it by now. He leaned against his car and took a bite of the donut. After swallowing, he spoke up, tone friendly. "So, what brings you to 'Haven? It can't be the scenery. " As much as he loved this almost hopeless city, he had to admit it was pretty ugly. Gray, broken buildings, gray, uneven streets, gray skies, gray everything. The almost outright hostility of its residents and lack of wilderness just added to the urban decor. Metropolis was significantly prettier, in his opinion.
Before he could take another sip of his drink, he felt the tell-tale rush of wind and suddenly his hat was missing. He rolled his eyes, a fond lopsided grin toying with his lips. Dick didn't even need to look over to know Wally had arrived. The Speedster always thought Dick being in uniform was hilarious for some inexplicable reason. Sure enough, within moments, the red head appeared offering food. "What's up guys. Fancy meeting you guys here" Dick scoffed playfully. "Yeah. a real coincidence, Walls."
Dick eyed up the pizza box, noting it was from Coast City, a good deal away from Central and far from Bludhaven. Then again, they were known for having the best pizza. It wouldn't surprise Dick that Wally ran all the way to Coast for it. "If you're hungry, I brought food. It was meant for Dick and my bro-lunch but I'm willing to share! The chicken nuggets are mine though. All sixty-two of them." At that, Dick raised an eyebrow. He wasn't aware of a bro-lunch, but he definitely wasn't going to complain. It's been too long since he really got to hang out with his friends. Being a full-time cop during the day and a vigilante at night really ate up his time. He shook his head at Wally's sixty-two chicken nuggets, but wasn't remotely shocked. That small grin tipped up his lips again.
He snuck a peek at just what type of pizza it was and let out a happy noise. "Cornflake pizza! You know me so well." Dick could practically feel his family shuddering in disgust from here, but they couldn't judge. They were no better. Jason said Dick had malfunctioning taste buds. He took a slice and started eating before looking between the two. The hero was trying to figure out if he was missing out on something. It wasn't often he got a surprise visit from two heroes bearing gifts. Brilliant blue eyes looked from Wally to Kara. Really, Dick was just happy to have some company. He flashed them both grins. "So, you two planning on sticking around for a bit? My shift's almost over. Figured we could do something." He gave a casual shrug, though he really was looking forward to having some fun with his friends. "I'm down for suggestions."[newclass=.dickie]margin:6px auto; width:470px; height:290px; background:#10243d; border:double #1e5a8a; overflow:auto; padding:15px; margin-top:6px;[/newclass][newclass=.dickie::-webkit-scrollbar]width:0px;[/newclass]

Seeing Dick happy made her even more happy, and she was relieved that he didn't seem to mind that his stuff was delivered a little messy. He was definitely one of the easier people to interact with around here. "I was sort of just flying around and got carried away." she smiled again "Then I heard your voice and had to drop by. Maybe it was fate that I-" Before Kara could finish her sentence, Wally whooshed in with a ton of food in his arms. "Hi Wally!" He might have ruined her "moment", but she was happy to see him.
Kara laughed when she seen he stole the police hat right off his head so quickly. "First you barge in before I can ask him on a date, and you also brought a better gift!" She stuck her tongue out at Wally quickly. She could smell the food where she was standing. Dick took a peek inside the pizza box, and Kara made a face when he said "cornflakes pizza." Is that.. a normal thing around here?" When Wally offered her some, she smiled at first and sort of frowned. "If you already had plans, I don't want to ruin them." Kara didn't have many friends, and found it hard to make real ones. She was was finally getting used to how things worked on Earth, but she was not as confident about making friends. She might have been a superhero, but she still had the mind of a teenager. Making friends with "regular" people was more difficult in a sense, at least her and these two guys sort of had something in common.
"Besides, I'd have to go change out of this anyway." She stated before looking down at her big S costume. Not only that, but Superman made her wear glasses when she was in regular clothes.

Being greeted by the two, Wally grinned. "I just happened to run into Bludhaven. You know I love this place. And hello to you Kara, looking lovely as always I see" he said, giving a bright smile at the kryptionian, words holding a flirty edge.
"First you barge in before I can ask him on a date, and you also brought a better gift!" Wally gasped, covering his heart in an overly-dramatic way. "Dick! You didn't tell me you were on a date!" he joked, and looked at Kara once more. "We could make it a date with all three of us if that makes up for it Karbear." he said, winking at the duo.
"So, you two planning on sticking around for a bit? My shift's almost over. Figured we could do something." Dick asked, and Wally gave a feigned look of thought and punched Dick's arm at that. "Of course I plan on staying, now the real question is Kara ready to party with us?" he asked, looking at the female superhero.
"If you already had plans, I don't want to ruin them. Besides, I'd have to go change out of this anyway." the female said, pointing to her outfit. Wally tilted his head and gave a knowing nod. "Well we can wait for you if you'd like" he said, smiling once again.
Bouncing on his toes, he turned his attention back to his best bro. "What about you, down for a date with the two greatest people here?" he said, tone joking, but a sliver of hope buried deep in his words, that only the most skilled could pick up on.
He then began to eat his food while waiting from a response from the two. It was a nervous habit he had and he was certain that Dick would know what he was feeling. Wally was okay with that though, Dick would always have a special place with Wally.
He was fond of his bro, having known him for years. He was amazed that Dick put up with him for as long as he did. Wally knew he wasn't the easiest to be around and he certainly wasn't the best friends Dick could have. That's why he had Donna, Kaldur, his brothers, the Justice League, most villains. Wally felt he wasn't high up on that list, but he knew it was just his insecurities toying with him.
Still, the feeling of being left by his best friend nagged at him. That was one of his worst fears, Dick deciding that Wally wasn't good enough to be his friend, but he pushed that to the side with all of his repressed thoughts.
"Again, I'm really sorry for interrupting your moment Karbear." he said, rubbing the back of his neck with his now free hand. He finished his food in a mere fifteen seconds. Sometimes he hated having superspeed, means he finished food faster than he wanted to, but oh well.

The elderly lady was walking down the street when she came upon a fruit stand selling her favorite fruits. As she pulled out her wallet a man with a ski mask on ran towards her knocking the senior down and taking her wallet. “HELP HELP I'VE BEEN ROBBED,” she exclaimed. Lin was walking down an alleyway trying to get to his destination when he heard the cry. He sprinted to the lady who pointed the direction the thief went. Lin ran in that direction till he saw the man running into a crowd. Lin decided to get to high ground. He began to climb the nearest building he found. Once he got to the roof he ran full speed gorilla jumping over obstacles with ease. Lin got to the edge of the building’s roof and began to scan the area just in time to see the thief. He jumped down landing on the ground rolling using the momentum to sprint. Lin began to weave through the crowd without breaking his speed. “Master would be proud,” he thought to himself when he got out of the crowd to see the man trip and fall. As Lin approached the man got up and started to run . But he wasn't fast enough Lin had used the wall of a building as a platform to perform a wall run allowing himself to position the man in his sights for a tackle. Lin jumped forward ramming the man to the ground with a loud thump. The thief scrambled to stand up and pulled out a knife. “That was a mistake,” Lin said but the man lunged at him. Lin parried the knife away, brought left leg out at the same time his left arm went out to attack the man's stomach. The thief forced himself back but Lin began to spirl forward and the last thing the man saw was Lin's foot connecting with his face….

Send out the signal and I'll fly low Dick Grayson If it means the death of me, I won't let go Even if the sky does fall Even if they take it all There's no pain that I won't go through Even if I have to die for you [attr="class","dickie"]Dick watched as the two heroes joked with one another, a wide grin lighting up his features. Whether or not Kara was serious about asking him on a date, he wasn't sure. Body language and previous evidence would suggest she was. He was well aware of her crush, not that she would be the first. The hero always had a habit of turning heads, good and bad alike. As for Wally, Dick was less certain on if was joking or not. The Speedster wasn't quite as quick when it came to not getting caught staring, and Dick has known the man since they were teens. That's plenty of time to pick up on subtle - and some not so subtle- signals. After all, it was a little difficult to hide anything from a Bat. Still, Dick never brought it up. He'd rather not freak out one of his best friends.
" Is that.. a normal thing around here?" Vibrant blue eyes flicked over to Kara, catching the face she made at his admittedly strange pizza choice. He gave a slight laugh. "Nope, it's just a 'me' thing." His attention was then turned to Wally as he spoke. "Of course I plan on staying, now the real question is Kara ready to party with us?" Dick chuckled a little more and shook his head. They haven't 'partied' in a long time. Their jobs as heroes usually cut into their leisure time. Then again, their definition of 'party' could vary wildly depending on their mood. Hell, sometimes Dick found busting smuggling rings to be a good time.
"If you already had plans, I don't want to ruin them. Besides, I'd have to go change out of this anyway." Before she even finished speaking, Dick was shaking his head. "You're not ruining anything, Kara. You're always welcome to join! And I know you're fast, we don't mind waiting a whole three seconds for you." A crooked grin lifted his lips at the joke. He wasn't entirely certain it'd take three seconds for her to change, but he knew it wouldn't take her long at all. Dick had no issue with letting her do what she needed to. After all, the more's the merrier. He liked having his friends to hang around with.
His attention was drawn back to the redhead as Wally spoke. "What about you, down for a date with the two greatest people here?" Dick let out a sound of fake surprise. "A date, Wallace? I thought we were partying. But sure. Kara's here, so where's the other great person?" His tone was teasing and he gave Wally a let shoulder nudge at the jab. "But for real though, I'd love to hang with you two. I just need to change too. What do you have in mind?" He figured it wouldn't be the best thing to walk around 'Haven in his free time while dressed like a cop. They weren't the most beloved figures here, after all. Dick was curious about the plans ahead, namely so he knew just what to wear. Whether it be something normal or his Nightwing suit, if they were looking for trouble.
Before he could think any more on the situation, he heard the sound of a struggle. His attention immediately turned in the direction of the noise. He caught sight of two men fighting, one masked and armed. Dick immediately sprinted toward the conflict, one hand on his radio to call in the event. By the time he reached the duo, the masked man was knocked out by an impressive kick to the head. The hero slowed his approach and radioed in to dispatch. "We've got a 10-14 on Stark Avenue. Possible 245." A moment later, the radio buzzed to life and he was informed to question the civilian. Dick gave back a confirmation and sighed.
He gave a small grin to Kara and Wally. "Gonna have to put a hold on those plans for a little. Business calls." It was funny, if he were Nightwing, there would be no need to follow procedure like he was right now. He'd just swoop in, tie up the baddie, leave a tip for the cops, check on the civilian, and hop away. So is the life of a cop.
His attention turned back to the man and he gave a bright smile. He should inform the man that taking down criminals is supposed to be left to the cops and vigilantism is technically illegal, but that would be beyond ironic coming from Dick. "Hell of a kick you got. I'm Officer Grayson and I'm going to need to ask what happened here." His posture was open and friendly, as was his voice. It wasn't odd for people not to trust cops, particularly in areas like Bludhaven and Gotham. It wasn't a hard scene to put together, given the mask, the knife, and the wallet that clearly didn't belong to the man. However, rules are rules. The fact that Supergirl was standing there wasn't even addressed, as if it was a normal occurrence for the officer to hang around superheroes. Lin walked over to the unconscious man's body and picked up the purse. "Why can't people just earn money the honest way? I mean times are tough but this is ridiculous." He looked back at the man and chuckled cause her forgot the man couldn't speak. Lin nearly turned around returning to attack mode when he heard a voice behind him. Lin restrained himself when he saw it was a police officer. "Oh hello officer er... officer Greyson. I swear I did nothing wrong I just stopped a crime but I will answer questions for you," Lin said with a smile.

Still getting used to people's body language, she wasn't quite sure if Wally was just being playful or actually flirting. Either way, he was always nice to her and she gave him a big smile in return. She looked between both of them. "Hmm. If you really don't mind waiting I promise I won't be long."
A date with both of them? Kara imagined for a moment what it would be like to have them both as boyfriends. Wally was probably just teasing her but..she wouldn't mind if he wasn't. He was cute with his red hair and bubbly personality, and she'd be lying if she said she never checked him out once or ten times before.
Supergirl let out a big sigh as Dick ran off, and she looked over to Wally with a look that said "Always something" before crouching down slightly and pushing off the ground with her feet off into the air while grumbling.
She landed at the scene and placed her hands onto her hips, listening to the two guys speak. So someone tried to steal some old ladies purse, and this random guy stopped it. "Good job taking the criminal down." The thief was laying there, still knocked out. Kara gave him a little nudge with her boot to be sure. "Be more careful though. He could have had a gun. Looks like he had a knife." She contemplated stomping on the criminals head for a moment, knowing it was a bad idea. But this jerk ruined her evening with two good looking guys!

Waiting for an answer from the two, he was debating on grabbing the extra Triple Belly Buster he bought and eating that, but Dick ran off while Wally was in his thoughts. Rolling his eyes he also noticed Kara was gone, and he sighed, mumbling something about how the old lady just had to get mugged at this very moment.
He jogged over to the duo while Dick and Kara talked to the savior. "Man I forgot how easy it was to get winded." He only had to jog down and across the street, but it felt farther than the speedster would like to admit.
Looking at the stranger he gave him his 10,000 watt grin and turned his attention to the unconscious form below them. "He's gonna have one hell of a headache." He looked back the the hero and shrugged, "I'm Wally, but you may call me the Wallman. I'm not as cool as Officer Ass- I mean Grayson!" He corrected himself, not being able to take back the fact that he messed up because he was staring at Dick's butt. Coughing awkwardly, he continued his introduction, "nor can I rock a skirt as well as Supergirl, but I'm here" he said, throwing his arms dramatically.
He wiped his hands on his jeans, suddenly finding them to be very sweaty. 'Well that was smooth Wally, you're sure to get Dick now. In both senses' he thought, unaware he was mumbling aloud and his foot was vibrating as he tapped it. Can you blame him though, his mouth worked faster than his brain when he was nervous.
He began to pick at his nails, another sign he was nervous, and when he looked behind him, his face paled. "My food!" he basically yelled, looking at the place where his food was, and all that was left was Dick's cornflake pizza, seeming untouched.
Wally pouted and turned to Dick. "Officer Grayson! I would like to report a robbery. My food was stolen and I had at least three Triple Belly Busters and a Big Belly Bacon Burger with extra pickles and special sauce in there." He honestly looked like he was going to cry a little. Big Belly Burger was his life and some hoodlum in Bludhaven just took it away from him. " look out I'm fast " Wally West
