"WORDS CAN'T HURT ME, THESE SHADES ARE GUCCI" 387 @xurentotomasaru It was a warm summer day in Coast City, and Amahe was taking full advantage of it.The young man walked down the crowded streets with all the confidence of someone three times his size and stature. There was an undeniable swagger in his steps. Or, perhaps, it'd be more appropriate to say a sashay. What could he say, he was utterly stunning, not that that was any surprise. Him having an ugly day was like trying to divide zero; impossible and reality-shattering.
He decided to drag his brother to the city with him on a whim. There was no real reason for the two to go on a road trip across the country other than Amahe felt like it. He never did like staying in one place for too long. When he settled, the thoughts started rising in his head and picking at his subconscious. It was never good for him to get caught up in such a negative spiral. He might accidentally harm someone with his abilities and that was something he most assuredly did not want to do.
Once the two had stopped in the city, Amahe immediately sought out the nearest coffee joint. According to his gps, there was a bistro with some banging drinks nearby. That was his current destination. The trip to Coast had been long - at least in his opinion - and he only had two cups of coffee. Two. That was downright blasphemous to the hero. Sharp gaze roamed over the civilians hurrying to and fro with only mild judgment. Then, he swung his piercing stare back to his brother, eyes hidden behind his exorbitantly priced sunglasses. Just like this trip, he had no reason to purchase the obscenely expensive accessory other than wasting his father's money. The asshole deserved it, if you asked Amahe. "Come on, loser. I have men to steal and lives to ruin."
With nothing more, he started making his way toward the bistro on the corner for his caffeine fix. His usually overconfident sashay was just a tad slower as he lingered to allow his brother the opportunity to tag along, should he so desire. All he knew was, if he didn't get his drink soon, he was liable to rip the wall off the place and just chug it straight from the pot.

| - I TRIED CARRYING THE WEIGHT OF THE WORLD BUT I ONLY HAVE TWO HANDS- Being crammed into a car with his brother for God knows how long wasn't exactly on the top of Xuren's to-do list. Sure he loves his brother, but one can only stand so much of his complaining.
When they arrived at Coast City, he all but praised the gods for his arrival. Looking at his brother, he raised an eyebrow when he walked away, but Xuren knew exactly where he was going. He was going to the one place he knew his brother would go, a coffee shop. If there is one thing he loves more than fashion, it is his coffee.
When his brother glanced at him and said "Come on, loser. I have men to steal and lives to ruin," Xuren knew that today was going to be a great day. When his brother said something, he meant it, and Xuren will never admit it, but he finds it highly amusing when his brother goes off on someone. His favorite was when he called Sharon a "Six-piece chicken McNobody."
"Alright, make good on that promise to ruin people's lives, lord knows that there is probably a Sharon here." he said, matching his brother's pace. When the shop came into view, Xuren smiled slightly at the sight seats decorating the outside of the shop. The hero loved being outside, preferably alone, but beggars can't be choosers.
"So, what do you plan on doing in Coast City? Spend most of our Father's money?" he said, grimacing slightly at the word 'father.' He could feel his hope that their family will ever be together and 'normal' slipping away each day. Pretty soon, he'll have no hope left, and will he argue with his father like Amahe does? Will he ignore his father like he ignores his children? Yes, Xuren get's he has a job, but would it kill him to call every once in a while? Apparently, it would.
Walking through the doors and ordering his favorite drink, an iced coconut milk mocha macchiato, he waited patiently looking around at the decorations. 'They could've used different colors, brown and orange don't mix. Like seriously, a rat could have vomited something better looking than this train wreck of an interior. The outside looked so much better than this.' he thought, and his eyes widened. 'Oh god I'm starting to sound like Amahe' he thought and shook his head, looking for his brother. He left him by mistake and as he observed the people, he decided he didn't like the crowd he was in.

"WORDS CAN'T HURT ME, THESE SHADES ARE GUCCI" 726 @xurentotomasaru Amahe could hear his brother catching up to him and paced himself to match Xuren's stride. He only spared the other hero a glance when he started speaking. "Alright, make good on that promise to ruin people's lives, lord knows that there is probably a Sharon here." Amahe's stride faltered ever so slightly as he cast a most venomous look to his brother. "Sharon." It was beyond obvious just by the sheer hatred in his voice what Amahe thought about the woman. If he had an arch-nemesis, it'd most assuredly be her. "So help me, if I see that Ronald McDonald reject anywhere near this place or anyone looking remotely as hideous as that walking primordial disaster, I might actually fling them into the sun."
He cut off his soon-to-be-tirade once the shop came into sight. With the purpose of a man on a time-sensitive mission, he strutted into the place and right to the counter. He didn't even bother to glance at the menu. There was no need, as he only cared for their strongest drink, whatever that may be. Once the cashier was ready to take his order, he spoke. "I want the largest version of your strongest drink. Then add four shots of espresso, extra extra sugar, extra whipped cream, and chocolate drizzle." His order got him a stunned look, which wasn't odd. It would undoubtedly taste far too bitter for any sensible person to drink, but he likes to think he's ascended beyond the needs of good tasting coffee. Xuren told him it's because his taste buds have shriveled off.
He gazed at the decor with a look of intense distaste. "It's summer, not autumn. These colors are not summer colors. I'm supremely offended as well as disappointed. Dishonor on the interior designer and their cow." Before he could get too far into his critiquing of the shop, Xerun spoke up. "So, what do you plan on doing in Coast City? Spend most of our Father's money?" Amahe scoffed and shot him a look that said 'are you serious right now?'. "Of course. What else would I do with his money? Besides, I need a new scarf to choke people out with. Mine is out of season and that's just embarrassing." Whether he was joking about choking people out was left unspecified. He delivered it with his usual dry tones that could mean he was being sarcastic or entirely serious.
When he finally got his drink, he took a long, painful chug of it. It was unwise, given the heat of the liquid, but he didn't really care. Amahe was always rather bad at taking care of himself. Good thing his twin was able to heal injuries, otherwise he'd be in much worse shape. Finding the drink to his liking, he left a generous tip and started strutting out of the shop. "Move fives, ten coming through." The disgruntled remarks that garnered were ignored. He was just glad to be the center of attention. Being ignored was something Amahe hated with a passion. He got that enough from his own family. Best to cause drama and scandal so he isn't so forgotten. It wasn't the best way to deal with his abandonment issues, but he liked to skim over that.
Once outside, he looked around the scenery for anything interesting. "You think there's any clubs nearby? Nude beaches? Hot dad conventions? How ab-' His words were cut off as he saw something that nearly made his heart stop. "Oh my god. Oh my god. WHAT IS THAT?" He didn't even try to be subtle when he motioned toward perhaps the ugliest pair of fringe jorts he's ever seen in his life. "The Circus is in town, Toto. I've found your people." He couldn't tear his eyes away from the fashion trainwreck assaulting his corneas. "I've never felt so disgusted by a piece of fabric in my life. Please, if there's a God, drop a meteor on me. No, wait, them. I'm to pretty to die." Without hesitation, he grabbed Xeruntoto and shoved him right in his range of sight, blocking out the person currently doing squats. "I'm dying for real this time. No one should ever do squats in those shorts. It should be considered illegal. Someone arrest him. Take one for the team, bro."

| - I TRIED CARRYING THE WEIGHT OF THE WORLD BUT I ONLY HAVE TWO HANDS- Usually Xuren was pretty patient, but he was just dying to get to the beach already. Tapping his fingers against the counter, hummed a small tune. Watching the people scramble around trying to get both of their drinks ready amused him slightly. Immediately after that he felt bad about finding that amusing, they're probably working at minimum wage and I shouldn't be laughing at them."Of course. What else would I do with his money? Besides, I need a new scarf to choke people out with. Mine is out of season and that's just embarrassing." his brother responded to his earlier question. Xuren smiled and laughed, "How could I forget, which one are you going to get?" he asked and thanked the person who handed the two their drinks. He took a small sip of his drink while his brother chugged his drink and Xuren shook his head. It was a good thing he could heal, otherwise he was certain his brother's heart would have exploded by now. Seriously, he once caught Amahe putting a can of Red Bull into an espresso. "Move fives, ten coming through." Xuren gave the back of his brother's head a look that mildly mirrored a parent when their child cursed in public. Shaking that loo, he followed his brother, only half listening to his questions about clubs. At the mention of a 'Hot dad convention' Xuren gave him a weird look. "Still lookin' for a sugar daddy? I'm cer-" he was cut off by his brother's horrified "WHAT IS THAT?" and looked at where he was gesturing.Choking on his spit, Xuren put his drink down before he dropped it. Fringed. Jorts. He thought he had seen it all. He was wrong. "The Circus is in town, Toto. I've found your people." Usually the male would respond with a comment about how Amahe would miss him if he left, but his face was frozen in disgust as the male continued to squat. He heard his brother say something, but before he could respond he was shoved in front of Amahe, getting the perfect view of the male across the street. "I'm dying for real this time. No one should ever do squats in those shorts. It should be considered illegal. Someone arrest him. Take one for the team, bro." Amahe said and Xuren shook his head. He was going to do the same to Amahe, but he was certain he'd die if he put him where he could see that disaster."Oh my god. Amahe. His shirt. It has puffed shoulders. And are those..are those crocs! Oh god no..they're not. They're cruggs!" he said, turning to look at his brother with a horrified look. He never thought his eyes would be assaulted within the first five minutes of being in Coast City, but they were.Debating whether or not it would be worth it to just poke his eyes out, the male, who he now realized had a bowlet, turned to stare at him. Xuren couldn't help but stare at the outfit, and froze when the male winked and blew a kiss at him."Amahe..I'm gonna be sick" he said as the male crossed the street, beer belly hanging over the jorts. He wiggled his eyebrows at Xuren and said male all but launched himself into a seat, trying to avoid Crugg-Mageddon coming his way. He hid his face with his hand and put his headphones in, playing the first song that came on.Staring into his drink, he sent a silent prayer that the male wouldn't come through and recognize him. Or worse, flirt with him, in front of Amahe. Now don't get Xuren wrong, males flirting with him normally doesn't bother him, but the way this guy looked, that was his worst nightmare."He's worse than Sharon. He's a Gunther." he said, looking at his older twin. Looking up, he didn't see the male anymore and he relaxed slightly, but he heard the tell-tale bell of the store's door opening. A nervous look crossed his face as he looked at Amahe. "Please don't say he's here.." |

Words Can't Hurt Me Amahe Masaru These Shades are Gucci Rich Kid. Asshole. Paint Me As a Villain. "Oh my god. Amahe. His shirt. It has puffed shoulders. And are those..are those crocs! Oh god no..they're not. They're cruggs!" Amahe was too busy making sure Xuren was blocking his view to really pay attention to what his brother was yelling. He did, however, pick up on a few keywords, like 'Cruggs' and 'puffed sleeves'. It made Amahe let out a low, almost pained sound as his brain was assaulted with the horrendous mental image."STOP DESCRIBING HIM, YOU ASS. I'm using you as a barricade to prevent myself from suffering!" Sadly, his brother wriggled his way free and all but sprinted from the scene, not that Amahe could blame him. He made sure to slap a hand over his eyes, nearly breaking his sunglasses from the force, as he tried to hide alongside his brother.
Unfortunately for Xuren, Amahe saw the way the walking fashion disaster took an interest in him. He may or may not have gagged a little when the man blew a kiss at Xuren. "I'm never taking you anywhere again, you're cursed. I can't believe this." He slouched down in his chair, as if that could make him invisible to that atrocity. "Even Saint Laurent himself couldn't help that grotesque Taco Bell dumpster cast-off." Amahe took to chugging his drink, as if it could drown out the mental image of whatever that thing was. For once, he wished he was drinking liquor rather than coffee. "Consider yourself lucky you don't have a photographic memory. That subhuman creature is going to haunt me until the day I die, which can't come soon enough, by the way.
"He's worse than Sharon. He's a Gunther." At that, Amahe shot Xuren a glare. "Why must you bring her into this conversation. Isn't it painful enough?" He grumbled to himself as he drank more of his coffee. "You think I'm strong enough to just blow up Coast City? Because I think it needs to happen." At the tell-tale sound of the door opening, Amahe oh so slowly raised his gaze to see who stepped into the shop. "Please don't say he's here.." The person who entered was not, in fact, that disgrace to fashion, but just an unsuspecting patron. Still, seeing this as a prime opportunity to mess with his brother, Amahe sent him a smirk. "Whattaya know, your future husband is here."
A moment later, that smirk dropped and a look of utter horror and disgust twisted his features. "Ugh, no nevermind. I don't want that thing as a brother-in-law. We need to escape, like now. If it tries to touch me, I'm flinging him into the ocean." With trepidation usually reserved for warzones, Amahe peeked outside. He didn't see that man anywhere, thankfully. "I think we're in the clear. But just so you know, if he shows up, I'm throwing you at him and running." With that, Amahe slipped out of the cafe once more with more grace than the situation should warrant. What? He had to look elegant no matter what was going on.

Words: 298 Really bad post, my bad xuren's outfit | - I TRIED CARRYING THE WEIGHT OF THE WORLD BUT I ONLY HAVE TWO HANDS- "Whattaya know, your future husband is here." At Amahe's words, Xuren's usual smile dropped from his face. The look that came next was made of pure horror. A few seconds later his brother stopped smirking and said "Ugh, no nevermind. I don't want that thing as a brother-in-law. We need to escape, like now. If it tries to touch me, I'm flinging him into the ocean."
Turning around, Xuren relaxed and shook his head, slightly laughing at the confused look he was getting from the man. "You're such an ass" he said and drank some more of his coffee. Scrolling through his phone, Xuren hummed along to his music only half listening to his brother when he spoke.
Looking up from his phone a few minutes later, Xuren noticed he was alone and Amahe was no where around. Groaning, he mumbled a few curses before leaving, asking a few people if they saw Amahe.
They pointed in his general direction and when Xuren spotted his brother, he ran to catch up to him. "God, why must you always sneak away like that" he said, catching his breath as he returned to a regular pace.
"Do you want to go to the beach later?" he asked, looking over at the rolling waves. A sudden wave of homesickness hit him, and he looked at Amahe. He smiled and it was obvious he was hiding something.
Hearing the tell-tale jingle of an ice cream truck he turned two his twin. There was obvious hope in his eyes and he shoved Amahe slightly. "Yo, let's go get ice cream!" he said, running in the direction of the music.

Words Can't Hurt Me Amahe Masaru These Shades are Gucci Rich Kid. Asshole. Paint Me As a Villain. "You're such an ass" At that, Amahe smirked as if he'd been complimented. "You know what they say, you are what you eat." His voice was its usual mix of deadpan sarcasm. Then, he started laughing under his breath. It was a wholly unoriginal joke, but damn if that hadn't been the best setup to make it. He was a man of simple pleasures, after all. 'Aaand that's my biggest lie of the day so far.' He escaped the cafe while his brother was busy, not bothering to alert Xuren. Hey, it was his fault he wasn't paying attention to Amahe. These things tend to happen when he's left to his own devices.
Moments later, he heard the tell-tale sound of someone running up behind him. He had his money on his brother. If it happened to be anyone else that touches him, he'd fling them into a wall. What? They would deserve it. "God, why must you always sneak away like that" Amahe just glanced at him as he caught his breath. The look on his face was one that simply screamed 'are you serious right now?'. "Me sneak? Anywhere? Wow, you must have hit your head falling for that walking landfill harder than I thought. I don't sneak. How would anyone stare in awe then?" His tone was just as dry as his expression, making it difficult to tell if he was being serious. Though, he had some faith that his brother knew him well enough by now to know he was kidding.
"Do you want to go to the beach later?" Amahe's gaze drifted from the wistful look on his brother's face to the golden sands and crystal waves that reminded him dearly of home. For a moment, he had a longing look on his face before he crushed that into dust and threw it away. He wasn't going to yearn for a place that held such sour memories. Still, that didn't mean he couldn't enjoy a good time at the beach. He gave a long-suffering groan. "I guess we can. But I need to get some nice swim clothes. This outfit isn't meant to be worn on a beach." Which, well, was technically true. Jeans and sneakers aren't beach-going material. However, Amahe just liked being difficult and would make a production over changing.
Before he could even begin to contemplate on where to get clothes, as if he hadn't brought some with him, the sound of an ice cream truck caught his attention. Yet another groan left his lips. He already knew Xuren would hop on the chance to go after the ice cream truck like he was nine years old again."Yo, let's go get ice cream!" Without even a shred of surprise, he looked at Xuren before rolling his eyes behind his shades and heading toward the truck. Once getting there, he made sure to stare at the purveyor with the most serious of expression and spoke with an almost grave tone. "I would like a medium of your frozen cow juices. Preferably the pink fruity kind." He got a weird expression but Amahe didn't so much as twitch from his stoic visage. Nor did he look ready to elucidate his odd order. [attr="class","mary5"]Making his way to the truck, Xuren waited for his brother, happily looking over he different kind sof thigns they sold. When his brother arrived and said "I would like a medium of your frozen cow juices. Preferably the pink fruity kind," Xuren sighed at the looks people around them gave.
"I'd like one of the Supercones, and he wants a medium strawberry cone, put rainbow sprinkles on the side." He pointed to the unmistakable blue and red 'S' on the pictues and handing the person the money. Waiting about a minute, the person returned with the cones and handed the two the ice creams with a 'Have a nice day.'
Smiling, he took his ice cream and walked away, removing the treat from the plastic. He looked around for a clothing store because let's face it, his brother was right. Their outfits weren't meant for the beach and Xuren knew it.
