"A Tooth Brush, Pajamas, a working cell phone, regular clothing. We've got a lot of shopping to do in order to make sure I have everything I need for tonight Kara. Hopefully the Arms Dealer, whoever he is, has the presence of mind to stay off our radar for the next couple of days, so I can get more used to your world, without having to worry about that problem. I can't stay with you forever, though, so we will need to work something out. I'll also need a guide to the aliens I now have. I don't know anything about Kryptonian, Thanagarian, or Martian for example."
It was true Cameron had no knowledge of those aliens at all. Sadly this put him at a disadvantage. If he were to continue being a hero he was going to need a way to ensure that he was able to do so. Thus, he needed to learn more about the tools he had at his disposal here in this universe. Sure he could always use the sword Ascalon, but he didn't like using it. The sword was too powerful, and was something he preferred to save for absolute emergencies. The only reason he had busted it out during the spar against Supergirl was it was the only thing he had, that he knew how to use beyond a shadow of a doubt.
"Do you care if I also buy some machinery to play around with, at your apartment or not?"
Truthfully Cameron knew he shouldn't pry, but he was going to find out if he was alive in this dimension. If he was, and wasn't a hero, he'd leave himself alone. But if he was being tortured by a super villain? Cameron planned on coming down on the villain with all the power that he could muster.

The hero wasn't too excited about shopping for toothbrushes and all that boring stuff, but it had to be done. "Alright, can't go overboard though. My cousin has money but he's definitely not made of it. He doesn't get anything from saving people, and he prefers to have a job where he really doesn't make a lot. That's what he says at least. He probably wouldn't be too happy if I spent it all on him. But yes, hopefully they lay low for a while until we are better prepared do handle them." She thought for a moment. "Might be able to help you with the alien situation too but I'm not sure."
Kara began getting ready for them to leave, making sure she had everything she came with. "What sort of machinery..? My apartment isn't very big remember. Plus we should try not to make too much noise for the neighbors. The one to the right of me likes to complain about everything. Hmm.. Alright. Ready to head out?"

"For starters, I'll need access to something that can hack into the Omni-Arm, and allow me to go through the list of aliens I possess. Surely there must be some with similarities to the ones I had back home, so I can have some I sorta know how to use. If there are not I will have to train myself anew, from the ground up to use all of the aliens. I will also need a home to call my own, but that is something that can be dealt with later."
Cameron paused. "Back home, there was an intergalactic police force of sorts. I planned on trying to "spoof" one of their devices and see if the organization exists here. If they do, I'd be able to have at least some resources other than the money of your cousin at my disposal, assuming their head quarters are still around."
Cameron didn't add that it would allow him to find the version of himself that properly existed in this place, but that was something he planned on keeping secret for now.

"Hmm.." she said as she tried to think of anything he could use. Her mind was off thinking about other things. Superman, or pretty much anyone but her right now would be better at helping him with this situation. "Sorry, I'm no help with this since i haven't been here too long myself either."
"I think the only way to really help is to have you meet some of my friends, but they will probably be mad at me for not telling them about you sooner. Oh well." She wondered which of her acquaintances would be best for this, that won't be upset with her, and won't bother them about it.

"It's alright. We've both got a lot to learn about this planet. Wait. If you're Kryptonian... don't you like have a crystal base of some sort you could call home?" asked Cameron, making a guess. Of course he wasn't sure if he'd be right about it, or if he was wrong. Still it was an honest guess about her choice of home. "What friends are those?" asked Cameron curiously. "And could I meet them, if you are willing to introduce me to them? Also, do you mind helping me learn how to control my Kryptonian, and Ultimate Kryptonian Forms?" asked Cameron. At least one of his alien forms he had access to he needed practice with. Since she was a Kryptonian he believed he could learn more from her about that alien than he could if he practiced on his own.

Supergirl looked to Cameron with slight confusion. "No.. I don't think so. If there is something like that here, then I'm unaware. There was in fact something like he was talking about, but it was Superman's and she didn't know anything about it yet. The family didn't tell each other everything, just as she hasn't told him about Cameron yet. "Just some friends. Whichever would be more beneficial. Not sure yet."
Kara gave him a nod. "Yes, I can help with that. Shouldn't be too difficult for you to figure out once I give you the basics. Wasn't hard for me at least."

There went the one easy opportunity to get the Omni-Arm to give him some aliens he could actually use. His body tensed, but then relaxed at her offer of training. Truly, having training from someone who was the species was more beneficial than Kara realized. It was something Cameron had never had with his other aliens. Of course with his other aliens, he'd had his family around to help him and assist him in learning to control the aliens. Sadly he didn't have them around, although if that tentacled freak showed up, Cameron knew someone who could, and would pound that tentacled freak into intensive care, and who may have a crush on him, if what he was feeling right not was mutual. Kara was nice and kind, but he wasn't sure if he was ready for a new relationship so soon.
"Very well Kara. So shall we proceed to the shopping?" asked Cameron. Hopefully she would never find out what he had attempted to do after his family had been killed. It was something not very heroic, to say the least.

After giving him a big nod and smile, Kara gathered her cell phone and other belongings before standing up. "Yes!" Kara peeked at her phone to be sure she didn't miss anything important. She only had received one text and replied to it quick before putting the phone back into her pocket.
She left with Cameron, and walked with him down the sidewalk a bit, the first clothing store she thought of was only a couple blocks down. If he didn't find something he would wear here, they might have to go a bit further. They entered the store and she looked around a little from the entrance. It had some pretty neat looking shoes, and even sold some skateboards and things in the very back. "I'm not sure if this is your style or not but it's pretty cool right?" It was a little strange seeing a shop like this in Metropolis, but the store itself had quite a bit of customers inside.

Once they arrived at the store, Cameron went immediately to an area of the store that sold jeans, and black shirts. Looking at them forlornly, Cameron remembered he couldn't wear them anymore. They were a reminder of who he had been, a piece of home he could never allow himself to have again. Honestly were things different, he'd probably pick up the clothing and wear it. As it stood now he couldn't bring himself to wear the clothes that were a reminder of a past he had abandoned, and sworn never to relive again.
"Never again," said Cameron, as he walked away from his favorite sets of clothes and began to look elsewhere. Some formal wear was also going to be needed. After all, he'd have to have interviews for jobs sooner or later, so best to get that out of the way. Oh wait, he couldn't do that because legally he didn't exist. A problem that he was going to have to correct at his earliest opportunity. A problem that was also very annoying for the young hero. Sure he might be staying with Kara, but he didn't want to live off of her forever, if he was to be honest with himself.
"Do you have any clothing suggestions, Kara?"

While he ran off to look at shirts, Kara was distracted with some of the women's clothes. A lot of the items were styles she hadn't worn before. There were dresses too, which were so short that she had mistaken for more shirts at first. She placed the dress back onto the rack and browsed some other things before she hears her name.
She made her way back over to Cameron when he asked her a question. "Hmm. I think the blue would look nice." She picked up one of the shirts and held it against him. "Green would too. Which one do you like more?" Kara looked around at a couple other things, including a white button up shirt. The fabric felt nice. "How about this? It comes in a few colors too."

Cameron looked at the one she had presented as an option. "Blue. In the past, when I had my other identity before my family was annihilated I wore Green, Kara. Never again. I'm not ready to be that hero again, at least not yet anyway." Tears came to the eyes of the former hero as he thought about what had happened, bad memories welling up in his brain that promised to cause problems should he encounter any villains, or arms dealers tonight and have to go hero. For while the memories brought sorrow to the young ex hero they also brought something else to him that was not a good thing for any villains to encounter. Rage, the likes of which most heroes who had lost their home towns, or similar at the hands of their villains had, only Cameron's rage was more intense than that, and it was welling up deep within him, threatening to burst. "Kara, you must not allow me to go out and hero the rest of the day. I am not sure any of the villains would survive if I were to encounter them right now."
It was partly for the good of the villains that he not face them, but also because Cameron was not in a good place mentally. With his mental state like it was, hero work right now was a bad idea, all things considered.
